SINGLE LESSONS

Our main purpose at LadyLanes is to provide high quality training to anyone looking for a driving course. All of our instructors are highly qualified, many having originally trained with us to become DSA registered Approved Driving Instructors. If you choose to learn with Lanes you can be happy in the knowledge that we will do our best to help you pass your test and become a safe driver for life.

Weekly or single lesson tuition is still one of the most popular ways to learn to drive and gives you the opportunity to progress at a steady pace, with plenty of time to practice between lessons!

We offer single lessons which last approximately 50 minutes, with the same instructor on a one-to-one basis. We know that you will be more relaxed if learning without other pupils in the car, so our training courses always provide personal individual tuition. Your lessons can be taken in a manual or automatic car, all of which are new, fully equipped and dual-controlled.

1 - 5 DAY INTENSIVE COURSES

An intensive course with LadyLanes gives you the opportunity to learn your driving skills in a short space of time. We offer intensive courses which run from one to five days. You take the course which is best suited to your experience and skills.

These courses normally run from 10am - 4pm with an hours break for lunch, although the timings of the last day will be dependent on the time of your driving test. The driving test will be arranged by us for the afternoon of the last day.

We also offer the 5 Day "Guaranteed Pass Scheme", this acts as an insurance for your course. Your course can be taken in a manual or automatic car, all of which are new, fully equipped and dual controlled.
To give you an approximate idea of which course would be most suitable for you, please read the table below…

Course Length	Course Description
1 Day Course	For someone who has recently failed a driving test or with similar ability.
2 Day Course	For someone near to test standard i.e. covered the full syllabus but still requires a small amount of fine tuning.
3 Day Course	For someone with a reasonable standard of car control and has covered town driving and all manoeuvres.
4 Day Course	For someone with basic car control who has done one or more manoeuvres.
5 Day Course	For a novice. However, if you have no previous driving experience we would recommend that you take a few lessons before starting this course.

Please remember the above is based on an average pupil and therefore should only be used as a guide. If you would like a more accurate guide please contact us and we will arrange an assessment lesson for you. The lesson will last for 1h40m and cost £55.00 daytimes, evenings and weekends.

AFTER YOU PASS COURSES

LadyLanes has further training available which has many benefits for experienced motorists as well as new drivers.

You may not have had the opportunity to be involved in Motorway driving. Faster road driving is now, of course, part of the new driving test and perhaps you had little or no involvement when you took your lessons. Maybe you would like to increase your parking skills and make the task less stressful in today's busy streets and car parks.

Perhaps you would like to take the Pass Plus course which covers all types of driving at varying speeds and conditions, and on completion also leads to lower insurance premiums. Pass Plus is a worthwhile and cost-effective course for all new drivers. You may indeed not have driven since passing you test and would benefit from refresher lessons.

PASS PLUS

Pass Plus is a course developed by the Driving Standards Agency with the help and backing of the Insurance Industry.
The course has been designed to improve your skills in areas where you may have little experience and to reduce your risk of being involved in a road accident, as well as giving you a substantial discount on your motor insurance premiums. The cost of the Pass Plus course should be more than covered by the saving you make from your first insurance premium.

MOTORWAY DRIVING LESSONS

Motorways are out of bounds to learners, so most newly qualified drivers have little or no experience. Motorway driving is a completely different experience from everyday driving. Different rules apply and you need to be prepared for situations to develop a lot quicker because of the high speeds at which most people drive. Motorway lessons can give you the knowledge and confidence to be a competent and safe motorway driver.

PARKING SKILLS

So you've passed your test, managing to get through those tricky parking manoeuvres, but how many of you are really confident about parking your car? In today's busy towns it is always difficult to find a space to leave your vehicle. Most of us drive around until we find somewhere that we know won't be too tricky to park in. Wouldn't it be nice to have the confidence to do that parallel parking again or to reverse into a space at the supermarket car park …
With our parking skills lessons you can increase your knowledge and learn to park properly anywhere!
